Technomist, the annual national level Technical Symposium is a regular event conducted by Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology. An annual feature to create a platform for a stimulating technical interaction and promoting the presentation skills of the students, TECHNOMIST involves the students of Engineering Colleges from all over the state and neighboring states to share their knowledge of the latest advances in Technology and Science.
It is an occasion where students demonstrate their creativity in the areas related Technology, Engineering and Management. The engagements during this event are Technical paper presentations, quizzes and programming competitions.
The pace of development in the field of science and technology was intensified by the swiftness of Technological advances in the past decades. This millennium will witness developments that gain momentum and stand in tribute to man’s resourcefulness and scientific endeavor.
Started in the year 2005, Technomist 2K9, true to tradition and lit by the spirit and enthusiasm of our student organizers was a grand success. More than 400 papers from different parts of our country were received and students from various Universities and institutes like IIT, NIT, have shared this platform.
Technomist accomplishes the objective of promoting the exchange of ideas and designs in the areas of Technology among Engineering students around the state and the country and acquaints the participants with the latest advances in diverse fields. It provides the platform for participants to interact with technical experts from leading Industrial firms and top Universities and enhance their knowledge.
The college makes elaborate arrangements for boarding and lodging for outstation students participating in the technical fest, making it memorable and enjoyable for participants. The student’s organizers work hard to create techno savvy environment. Competitions are conducted in paper presentation and Technical Quiz. Attractive prizes in cash and Kind are presented to the winners.
